Last week, while placing a DHC order for myself, I remembered, “It’s finally April! Don’t forget to order the new products you’ve been waiting for!”
Even though I do try every product before we launch it, I have to say that it is extra exciting when new products launch. Our team receives new products so far in advance, that when you really love something and get used to using it, it can be hard to wait until it’s finally released. This is currently happening to me with some products we plan to launch in 2013—really exciting stuff!—but it also happened with some of our new products that just launched this month.

Read more »This morning, as I walked into the DHC office building, our super kind and charming doorman, Joseph, told me, “Leslie, you look so much more comfortable in flat shoes!” I smiled and said, “Oh yes, but I have my heels here,” pointing to my tote bag.
Since I was 14, I have worn high heels—to high school, running around my college campus, and to work. So, I was especially interested in this reporting by the New York Times regarding a new study on high heels. The report, just released by the Journal of Applied Physiology, indicates that women who regularly wear high heels run a risk of long-term changes in their physiology, even affecting the way they walk barefoot, and in some cases by the age of 25.
